At a recent swap meet, I lucked upon a stash of very old correspondence (dating from 1903 to 1943) belonging to the Hatfields of Central Point, Oregon. I was delighted by this find, because these letters are personal and newsy instead of the business transactions that were saved with greater frequency. I’ve scanned several pieces that you may do with as you please. The 300dpi .tif images are collected in a downloadable .zip file. Because they are .tif files, you should be able to resize them without any image degradation. The scans are not cleaned up at all, these are old letters in all their folded, crumpled and dogeared glory. Enjoy!

I really want to download the Hatfield letters but the link is not working! HELP!
