Flea Market

Welcome to the ongoing destashing of Casa de Suz. Non-smoking home, yada yada. I do have cats but their grueling schedule of napping, sleeping and dozing prevents them from hassling the art supplies. Paypal “Buy Me!” buttons are below each item for your shopping convenience. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thanks for looking! More stuff coming, all the time.

Item Description

Vintage sari trim

Both pieces of vintage sari trim for $22 includes postage.

I have two pieces I’d like to sell together. Both are approximately 6” wide. The shorter piece is almost 21” long. The longer piece is about 6 feet long. The background silk is a teal blue/green, slightly faded at the edges in some parts. The lavish embroidery includes “gold” thread and sequins accented with blue, green and pink sequins and seed beads. Both pieces sport the same decorative pattern. I thought I’d use this stuff to trim pillows and make some curtain tie-backs but I now see I’ll never get around to it. My loss is your gain!

Plastic Organs!

$15 includes Priority Mail postage!

These must be from one of those Transparent Man anatomy dolls or similar. I bought them at a flea market thinking they’d be PERFECT in an assemblage or, oh I don’t know, maybe on a hat. An odd hat. But all I ever did with them was stuff them into an apothecary jar to admire in my office. It was quite the conversation piece.

I currently feel that my creative mojo is just not up to the challenge presented by these goodies. Maybe yours is worthy!?

Largest piece (lung) measures almost 4″ long. I don’t even know what some of these little bits are, and obviously there are a lot of body parts not represented, but all your favorites are here: The heart!! The liver!! The green squiggly things on the surface of the liver!! Yay!! (Eww!!)

If I were you, I’d fix these up with a few coats of that plastic-friendly spray paint (preferably in gold) and make some kickass trophies.

Petite Cardboard Word Tiles

$5 per packet                                     (4 packets available)       includes postage

Okay, these little cardboard word tiles are too cute. They’re in excellent condition too.

The cardboard tiles are great for collage but these are sturdy enough to be used in assemblages too. They have printing on both sides. The smallest pieces are about 5/8″ square; the largest pieces are 2″ long.

Each packet includes 90+ pieces, so that’s 180 words/letters. I divided them up so that each packet contains the same amount of long pieces, medium pieces, short pieces, really short pieces, single letter pieces and punctuation mark pieces. You may also find a blank piece or three.
