Suz Simanaitis used to wear many hats, literally, but lately she only wears them figuratively. By day she solves people’s problems at a small software company. By night she creates stuff that makes her happy, mostly involving technicolor yarn, pretty scraps of paper, and large quantities of elbow macaroni. In between, she sings as much as possible and tries to get a little sleep sometimes, too.
For over seven years, Suz published ARTitude Zine, an award-winning quarterly independent magazine about art, craft and creativity. She misses the layout work and the interaction with contributors, subscribers and print guys, but she doesn’t miss hauling 40 lb sacks of bulk mail to the post office in her tiny clown car.
Suz lives in Hawthorne, California where she enjoys ocean breezes, rose bushes that bloom pretty much year-round, and Mexican popsicles. You can contact her this way, this way or this way. She would be delighted to hear from you.

Suz! Lovely to see your new home on the web. A great representation of the talented and entertaining Suz we’ve all come to know and love. xoxo ~ Tracy

Hey there — so great :) Loved reading it and will check back. Love ‘we heart mac n cheese’ as well — have a great time in NOLA — wish I was going with you.
